Welcome to STRATOS VILLAS, in Kaloniktis, Rethymno!

Stratos Villas in Rethymno, Crete, consists of 3 separate villas for rent, combining luxury with tradition and agritourism. The Villa Stratos, the Villa Fouli and the Villa Maria.

Stratos Villas overlook the opposite hills, which resemble an endless natural rock garden. Trees, bushes and herbs grow among the rocky scenery. The small river, just 100m away from the villas, is inhabited by frogs, turtles and crabs. This peaceful scenery makes our villas the perfect place to relax and revive your mind, body and soul.

Stratos himself created Villa Stratos, Villa Fouli and Villa Maria with his good taste in a place with a stunning view to the hills and a small river, surrounded by lush greenery, located 1km before the historic village Kaloniktis, which belongs to the municipality Nikephorus Phokas, and 12km away from the beautiful city of Rethymno, Crete.

The traditional Stratos Villas are the only buildings on the eastern side of this green hill, where Kaloniktis village is built.

Stratos Villas offer an unforgettable experience to their guests. Here, you can relax listening to rare birds’ songs, escape stress and tension of everyday life, enjoy a swim in the pool or warm, cosy moments by a traditional fireplace in the winter and also taste exquisite original traditional Cretan dishes, prepared by our talented cook Eva.

If you feel like exploring, the area is suitable for hiking and cycling on the nearby paths or near the small river and even climbing on the green hills, where you can discover the rich local flora and fauna. Furthermore, you can participate in traditional activities, such as grape and olive harvest, wine and raki production, herbs collection, olive oil production and cheese production in a traditional cheese dairy.

Stratos Villas offer a total accommodation capacity of 21 people during the whole year round, as every season is beautiful in a different way.
